What is the difference between file-based, subscription-based, and API-based data offerings?

The platform allows you to provide data with different production modalities:

Data shared by file as a one-time delivery has already been produced, and you are not updating it.

For example : data on your workforce in 2013.

Data shared as a recurring file delivery is generated at a known frequency and that you can regularly update by adding new datasets to your offering.

For example : the weekly audience of a television program.

Data shared by API is produced continuously. You can offer a subscription-based acquisition, allowing you acquirers to track it in real time.

For example : the position and weather records of connected stations held by individuals.

In order to create the most consistent offerings possible, we advise you to add only one type of data to each of your offerings.
