Can I refuse a data transaction?

Thanks to participants authentication, you know exactly who your potential data acquirers are. This means you can refuse to distribute your data to competitors or protect certain data concerning your partners. You are not required to justify your refusal.

The case of acquisition on demand

The Participant Portal offers you “acquisition on demand.” This means that no data acquirer can acquire your data without your prior consent. You are entirely free to accept or refuse any transaction request.

The case of instant acquisition

In some cases, instant acquisition may be offered. Data acquirers will be able to obtain your data without seeking your consent, so you will not be able to refuse a transaction.

In the case of a data offering with multiple distribution conditions, it will not be possible to select instant acquisition.
